Does weapon trip work on flying people?

Tadam December 18, 2012 05:03PM

Don't mess with the Arial mafia. (n/t)

Bendak December 18, 2012 09:06PM

How about legsweep? Does it work on flying targets?

Frosty December 18, 2012 07:07PM

Nope (n/t)

daning December 18, 2012 07:09PM

Nope. Though its more reliable than trip for low dex warriors. (n/t)

Rhyaldrin December 18, 2012 07:09PM

Yes and pretty reliable.

TripHitNdip December 18, 2012 05:04PM

It has been a while for me, but last I remember it hit maybe 60%-75%. (n/t)

Startyre December 18, 2012 05:35PM

How much lag?

Tadam December 18, 2012 05:35PM

I'm going out on a limb and saying probably 1.1!

TripHitNdip December 18, 2012 05:40PM

Weapontrip lag is variable, I'm fairly certain it fluctuates between 0 lag and 1.5 round lag.

vortexmagus December 18, 2012 07:46PM

I'm not sure why I would use it, then.

Splntrd December 18, 2012 09:31PM

For me it always seemed trip lag

daurwyn(VIP) December 19, 2012 12:34AM

Yep, use it when you can't circle or when the opponent is flying.

vortexmagus December 19, 2012 09:10AM

IIRC it doesn't work through pass door, though. Which is something many flying people also have up. nt

Isildur(VIP) December 18, 2012 05:34PM

It amazed me how many people didn't bother with control trans against a thief when i had it (n/t)

Zheeser December 18, 2012 11:04PM

Ah, that's right. Control trans, wraithform, etc. txt

Isildur(VIP) December 19, 2012 03:29AM

And how many rager warriors it killed during defense (n/t)

Zheeser December 18, 2012 11:04PM

Doesn't work through control translucence or protective shield or wraithform and maybe a few other bash protections.

vortexmagus December 18, 2012 07:44PM

Works through pass door, but not if they have control translucence up, or so it seemed

I seem to recall weapon tripping Dorlanz when I played Artonaar. I could be wrong though n/t (n/t)
