Cry of Thunder.

xrus May 25, 2013 06:52AM

It never gave haste. Was a dios lie. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 06:54AM

It did give haste on a 0 tick timer. You got less than 1 tick of haste. I imagine it's been changed at some point. nt

Yhorian(VIP) May 25, 2013 11:40AM

There was a log when someone at normal status hit cry, and then got slowed from haste to normal by enemy transmuter, instead of going from normal to slow.

vortexmagus May 25, 2013 10:36AM

Well it hasn't been that way for a while then. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 12:01PM

Almost positive this is incorrect. Nt

Isildur(VIP) May 25, 2013 09:30AM

Well since I started playing over three years ago. Cry of thunder never gave haste. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 09:31AM

I recall seeing the hatsed-to-normal echo when the Archmage cast "slow" at a CoT warrior who had just used his warcry. nt

Isildur(VIP) May 25, 2013 01:14PM

You might of seen it at some point. When Sam had Ghrim I decided to test it one day.

tesline May 25, 2013 07:04PM

Once upon a time, it DID give haste.

Forsooth May 26, 2013 04:29AM

It's not *haste* but everything haste does for combat. Thus "haste-like affect".

sevriis May 25, 2013 09:46AM

Has any of this been proven? Thats all I ask. Show a post where there is proof. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 09:50AM

Search on officials, if you dont find anything then post and ask (n/t)

NbM(VIP) May 25, 2013 09:52AM

The burden of proof isn't on me. It is on the one trying to prove the point. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 09:53AM

You are the one trying to prove it doesn't when most of us know it does. And still does. (n/t)

Pro May 25, 2013 01:57PM

It might of at one point but I know for a fact it doesn't give haste now. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 06:05PM

You seem intent on pushing a lot of possible misinfo... wait for the gameplay answer (n/t)

NbM(VIP) May 25, 2013 06:15PM

It is what it is. If I'm right I'd like an apology for assuming I'm spreading misinfo. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 06:53PM

You are wrong (n/t)

Quas May 25, 2013 06:57PM

I'm not. I tested it with my character Tericero months ago. It doesn't give haste. It doesn't undo slow. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 07:01PM

Correct it doesn't remove a slow affect. But it still gives haste.

Quas May 26, 2013 05:13AM

I'm more inclined to believe what Alex is saying. That it gives a haste LIKE effect rather than haste itself. (n/t)

tesline May 26, 2013 10:14AM

Which isn't necessarily the same. nt

Flipside Oreo May 26, 2013 04:50AM

My side is from experience and consensus. So, like so many scientists before you, you are behoven to post on the officials for word from on high. (n/t)

sevriis May 25, 2013 10:01AM

My experience has been different. Also we have seen what consesus and experience has proven to show. (Mostly BS and misinformation) As we saw with stalk and assassinate. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 10:12AM

Personally I feel like stalk/assassinate was less opaque than most legacies, in particular CoT.

sevriis May 25, 2013 10:27AM

True I guess we will see if they answer the question then. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 10:45AM

You both have a side to prove, you not knowing for a fact that it DOESN'T do that is as proofless as his side of the argument. (n/t)

NbM(VIP) May 25, 2013 09:56AM

But there's no pointless drama in reason.

MiyagiYojimbo May 25, 2013 01:46PM

Wish I knew. Had other choices in mind too. Cry was selected because of the haste effect! (n/t)

xrus May 25, 2013 08:13AM

Just grab a quicken potion instead. (n/t)

tesline May 25, 2013 08:25AM

It still rocks solid (n/t)

Daichyl May 25, 2013 08:18AM

It gives similar effect (n/t)
