I wake and start walking out of the Fortress.

A Gray Corridor
  This corridor is made entirely of dark gray stone.  Enormous flagstones
join perfectly to the walls supporting the high ceiling.  Suits of gray 
armor stand in alcoves, each the garb of a great Maran who has gone 
beyond.  Torches in silver sconces hang beside each alcove, burning with 
bright silvery flame.  Eerie silence hangs in the air, almost as if the 
corridor itself were somehow waiting.  The corridor turns to the east and
leads back to the south.

  The gray stone walls of the Hall writhe with shifting shadows as the silver
light of gleaming torches shifts and flickers.  A palpable silence hangs in
the air, broken only by the occasional sputter of a torch, or the ring of
steel on steel from the Hall of Flame.  A strange serenity fills your soul,
like the calm before a storm.  Huge Maran Tara'bal stride past on the orders
of the Phoenix, moving with utter silence.  A gray corridor extends to the
north, and you can step through the entranceway to the snowy courtyard to 
the south.

Before the Hall of the Maran
  The dark gray Hall of the Maran opens out of the cliff face to the north.
Long, wide stairs lead between the two massive pillars that frame the 
cavernous entranceway. Snow has piled up on and around the stairs.
The torches set around the entranceway burn eternally with a silvery 
holy flame.  The courtyard continues to the east, south and west.  
Stairs lead north, into the Hall of the Maran.

of well packed snow cloaks the courtyard, gleaming brightly in the sunlight.

the Acolytes is to the east and the Hall of the Brigade to the west.  The 
courtyard continues to the south.

dominated by a large fountain, glowing faintly and surrounded by a haze of 
steam.  The courtyard continues to the north, east, south and west.

  A mantle of well packed snow cloaks the frozen ground, gleaming brightly in

continues to the north, east and west.  The massive silver gates of the
fortress rise to the south.

Standing Before the Fortress of Light
  The Fortress of Light rises before you, standing strong and proud in a
mantle of snow and ice.  The thick walls of this fortress are built of huge,
perfectly cut, white stones fitted tightly together.  The stones along the
base of the fortress are enormous, taller than any giant and more massive
than most houses.  Pennants flying above the watchtowers rustle and flap
defiantly in the chill winds.  The huge gate of polished silver is guarded
by a lone figure.

A Domed Chapel Foyer
  You stand in the foyer of a large chapel. The domed ceiling rises far above
you, ending in panes of stained glass which filter through outside light in
a myriad of colors. The floor is a tile mosaic depicting the pantheon of 
gods. The walls are lined with swords, axes, shields and various holy symbols.
Aside from that the beautiful church is bare, without even a bench to rest on.
An archway to the south is inscribed with sayings from various faiths and
quotes from famous military generals. You can pass through the archway, or
go back out to the Avenue of Faith to the east. To the north, a narrow
arch leads to the altar room of the main cathedral.

A stern shaman stands here, guarding his guild from trespassers.

Avenue of Faith, Beneath the Cathedral Buttresses
  Flying buttresses cascade off arches from the southern side of the
Cathedral of the Holy Light to the west, casting interesting patterns of
sunlight on the neat white bricks of the avenue. The main cathedral is
to the northwest, but the buttresses also attach to a large domed chapel
that rises up to the west, its stained glass peak reflecting multi-colored
hues of light over the area, giving it an almost radiant look. The arches 
end attached to a small shrine across the avenue from the domed chapel,
using the same architectural style of the cathedral itself. To the south
you see a square with a statue of white stone dominating the center.

wheThe Plaza of the Hummingbird
  This plaza is more of a garden than an intersection of roads. The avenues
are connected by a ring around the central garden, which takes up most of
the space. There are perfectly straight rows of manicured flowers and shrubs,
dotted with the occasional sapling or wooden lattice with ivy growing up it.
A huge statue of a radiant, stern woman is in the middle, a tiny hummingbird
flitting above her outstretched hand. Beneath the statue is a small fountain
that trickles gently down a stack of flagstone into a small basin near the
road. A huge gate leads out of the city to the east.

  This plaza is more of a garden than an intersection of roads. The avenues
are connected by a ring around the central garden, which takes up most of
the space. There are perfectly straight rows of manicured flowers and shrubs,
dotted with the occasional sapling or wooden lattice with ivy growing up it.
A huge statue of a radiant, stern woman is in the middle, a tiny hummingbird
flitting above her outstretched hand. Beneath the statue is a small fountain
that trickles gently down a stack of flagstone into a small basin near the
road. A huge gate leads out of the city to the east.

  Flying buttresses cascade off arches from the southern side of the
Cathedral of the Holy Light to the west, casting interesting patterns of
sunlight on the neat white bricks of the avenue. The main cathedral is
to the northwest, but the buttresses also attach to a large domed chapel
that rises up to the west, its stained glass peak reflecting multi-colored
hues of light over the area, giving it an almost radiant look. The arches 
end attached to a small shrine across the avenue from the domed chapel,
using the same architectural style of the cathedral itself. To the south
you see a square with a statue of white stone dominating the center.

  You stand in the foyer of a large chapel. The domed ceiling rises far above
you, ending in panes of stained glass which filter through outside light in
a myriad of colors. The floor is a tile mosaic depicting the pantheon of 
gods. The walls are lined with swords, axes, shields and various holy symbols.
Aside from that the beautiful church is bare, without even a bench to rest on.
An archway to the south is inscribed with sayings from various faiths and
quotes from famous military generals. You can pass through the archway, or
go back out to the Avenue of Faith to the east. To the north, a narrow
arch leads to the altar room of the main cathedral.

  A large altar dominates the center of the cathedral here, carved of pristine
white marble and set into the highly polished floor which has been patterned
into the appearance of a circle of golden stars on a white field. Closer
examination of each star reveals that each represents one of the benevolent
gods that reign over the heavens. Small shrines to the various immortals lie
in alcoves along the length of the cathedral and each is also represented
by stylized symbols in the stained glass window above each alcove. Behind
the altar you see the charity chests, where the downtrodden recover their
possessions, and where the charitable can make donations. The cathedral
continues to the north, while to the south you see the foyer of a domed
chapel. On each side of the altar, twin spiralling staircases ascend the
cathedral tower.

The Cathedral of the Holy Light
  This is the northern end of a large cathedral erected by the knights of
the Voralian Order. Though the knights follow the teachings of Lady 
Voralia, worship is preserved for the gods. As such, this cathedral is
void of symbols of the mortal lady, and instead dedicated to the essence
of light and the gods that patron it. Light seems to permanently shine
through a large stained glass window that extends the full height of the
cathedral, which depicts a nondescript humanoid with arms raised, basking
in beams of golden light. To the south, you see a breathtaking altar, 
while to the east you can return to the Avenue of Faith.

cathedral to the west, but the buttresses also attach to a more humble-
looking sanctum across the avenue to the east, built in the same style
of the cathedral itself. You can continue south beneath the buttresses
along the avenue, while to the north lies a square dominated by a large
statue.

Yeah, but mantle of the phoenix changes fire "type" dmg to healing. I swear that invoker immolate used to heal me when I was playing Sarien. (n/t)

Really think immolation needs to be toned down ALOT!! Its certain death to anyone who doesnt go stnad at the healer for ten hours. It will kill you outright from full health in a few hours, and its what, nine hours in this log? Yeah, weak sauce for sure.. (n/t)
