Re: Village player calling Tribs powergamey.

I still think vigilance should be removed without scales but only if they remove the ability for AI if a character is not wanted.

This creates incentive for trib to retrieve and incentive for outlanders to actually be wanted. If you die from wanted, your prep bag crumbles. So if you want them again you gotta be wanted.

I also don't think village should ever be allowed to war with spire in the capacity we often see. Hunted should be their version of a wanted flag. They dont get to pick and choose who they decide is on their agenda. That is for the admins to decide only.

A village kill and screwup with looting/returning. What an irony.

Murphy 875 May 11, 2016 06:44AM

How come you can call lieuteinants with no powers? (n/t)

Kstatida 285 May 11, 2016 07:09AM

You keep three powers without the scales: guardcall, wanted and vigilance. The cooldown timer on guardcall is much longer, though. (n/t)

Murphy 282 May 11, 2016 07:16AM

if provost lieutenants couldn't leave the cities, then i'd be fine with this

silatar 479 May 11, 2016 09:06AM

I mean, Emperor gets soften + auto-trip/disarm/dirt/kick + ability to cut off healing + detect all. Leaders get hooked up :) NT

Sam 325 May 11, 2016 05:47PM

Unless you're a nexus leader, in which case you get nothing, aside from induct and access leader channel...lol super op,especially for the force that's supposed to negate villagers. (n/t)

monstermash 440 May 12, 2016 09:35AM

Leader edgepoints! Woohoo! (n/t)

Murphy 346 May 12, 2016 10:11AM

Pretty sure Emperor has a hard time doing all of the above without the Codex...n/t

jalim 307 May 11, 2016 05:55PM

Yeah, and most of their powers work in places other than the Palace/Balator too when they do. What's your point? NT

Sam 417 May 11, 2016 06:00PM

The conversation you are replying to is specific to not having your cabal item? n/t

jalim 371 May 12, 2016 10:38AM

Huh. I never mentioned anything about having a cabal item. Just mentioned that when someone complains about Lieutenants, realize that they are something only 1-2 people have at any time.

Sam 379 May 12, 2016 02:49PM

Provost powers seem to be the new flavor of the week, replacing ground control. (n/t)

Murphy 369 May 12, 2016 06:03PM

Every cabal has its perks and drawbacks. Deal with it. (n/t)

Murphy 352 May 11, 2016 09:12AM

Wow that's unfair. Maybe things have changed since my time but village kept only truesight. You keep all your best powers, and three of them to boot. Damn. (n/t)

alansmithee 339 May 11, 2016 08:35AM

Pretty sure AI still works without the fetish. NT

Sam 356 May 11, 2016 09:56AM

AI and harvest work

Kstatida 411 May 11, 2016 12:01PM

If the powers in question only worked in the village, then it'd be fine to let them keep their powers without the head.

Murphy 370 May 11, 2016 08:54AM

that makes zero sense murphy (n/t)

silatar 378 May 11, 2016 09:05AM

Why? Except for the provost and vindicator, Tribs only have their powers in the cities.

Murphy 432 May 11, 2016 09:11AM

I like the losing vigilance idea

Quas 362 May 11, 2016 12:33PM

Village player calling Tribs powergamey. (n/t)

crafteddeception 496 May 12, 2016 05:33PM

No! My vigilance! I keeps! *hiss* (n/t)

Murphy 326 May 12, 2016 05:51PM

what kind of players do you think a cabal that gives everyone detect hide everywhere will attract? (n/t)

Quas 291 May 11, 2016 01:44PM

Risk averse players...which is who plays Trib. Which is why Trib is super duper boring to me. NT

Sam 285 May 11, 2016 04:45PM

As it is, typically it barely attracts players at all. What's happening now is an outlier.

Murphy 370 May 11, 2016 02:47PM

God do they suck. Hey, let's give 90% of the cabal powers that only work in like 4 places in the whole game. Yay? NT

Sam 368 May 11, 2016 05:46PM

Makes perfect sense to me.

MiyagiYojimbo 380 May 11, 2016 10:53AM

Careful. You'll invoke the ragerhaters. (n/t)

Frosty 303 May 11, 2016 08:39AM

They invoke themselves. Damn spell casters.

MiyagiYojimbo 363 May 11, 2016 10:46AM

Umm

Kstatida 362 May 11, 2016 07:26AM

Deputize, manacles, confiscate/safeguard, transport pillars and all information-gathering abilities other than vigilance.
