A Dark Cavern 
  Tendrils of the hazy mist cling to your legs, as you fumble your way
into the darkness of this cavern.  The walls are just barely visible
and the hazy mist seems to cling to every crevice and crack as if it
were a living being.  Along the floor, the mist has turned cold, causing
an involuntary shudder from time to time.  You can go deeper into the
cavern to the north, or turn around and head out to the south.

Inside the Mouth of a Dark Cavern 
  The walls of this cavern are cracked and chipped, though whether it is
a natural phenomenon or something else is hard to tell.  A dense, cool
mist creeps along the floor of the cave, making it hard to see where
you are stepping.  The ceiling of this immense cave stretches far above
your sight.  To the south, a large clearing opens up, and beyond it the 
dense forest stretches out.  The cavern stretches to the north, going 
deeper into the hazy mist.

Standing Before a Dark Cavern 
  Rising before you, like the mouth of some large beast, a cavern opens
up.  Tendrils of a hazy mist waft out of the cave, giving the illusion
of breath.  A deep sense of unrest and loathing rises in you as you
stare at the mouth of this cavern.  The trees to the east and west
are far too dense to permit passage.  To the south, a small game trail
leads back into the dense forest.  A broad ledge hangs over the cavern
and from time to time, it looks as if you see something moving, but it
is probably just the trees in the wind.

A Small Game Trail 
  Winding its way among the thick forest, this small game trail was 
undoubtedly made by some manner of small game.  Huge trees rise up all
around you.  Oaks, elms, and even a few cedars make up the majority of
the increasingly dense forest around you.  To the north, you can make out
glimpses of a clearing, and what looks like the face of the mountain.  To
the west and south, small trails made by some tiny game animal are visible.

A Small Game Trail 
  Winding its way among the thick forest, this small game trail was

standing as a silent reminder to some long forgotten tree.  Oaks, elms,

  A huge chunk of black obsidian stone has been fashioned into a large altar.  
The large formation of stone is used to sacrifice those who are being given to
the dark gods.  The moans of the slaves that are going to be slain upon the 
altar are a constant echo into this chamber.  Surrounding the altar is a 
circle of torches that burn with a blue flame.  The light that they give off 
casts an eerie glow about the altar room.  Darkness fills the openings in each
direction of the blood-splattered walls with the darkness sucking up all the 
light but that of the blue fire.

     A pit for sacrifices is in front of the altar.

The Dark Temple 
  This large temple is filled with a dark haze that limits visibility.  Demonic 
statues line the wall and are visible through the small amount of illumination
is present in the room.  Each figure's face is only stranger and more hideous 
than the last, all of which look to be eeriely alive.  Screams echo through 
the chapel with no discernable source.  Surrounded by torches that glow with a
eerie blue light, the dark altar rests in the northern section of the temple. 
The only solace from this evil place is through the southern exit.
