It started about the edge, but to make their point some said the nerve skill itself is niche and practically useless. My argument was never that it was the best edge or that it should supersede other edges, but rather it was a USEFUL edge that some people really like and get a lot of mileage out of. I could not have been more clear on that. Something else that was VERY clear was the people arguing against the edge also argued against the skill to the point that some advised not wasting practice sessions on it.
