I have been playing so long I played with Istendil when he was dreadlord and then emperor. He mentioned in his goodbyes about level one characters rolling up to him and talking shit. He said this was so unrealistic from a roleplay stand point because a hero level lich is so scary that people in their range should be cautious and wary (at the least) and so how would a level 1 anything approach a lich and talk shit? He is right and it applies all the way around. When a level 51 Paladin walks in the room the antipaladins and duergar sneak out the back. They don't talk shit to someone who's power outstrips them to the extreme. I had never thought about this but I was very impressed by this line of thinking, as evidenced by the fact that I still recall it (and use it) to this day. People who roll up lowbies to grief or to talk shit are absolutely absurd. What is the line of thinking..."well I cannot pkill him so I am going to definitely make a poor role play choice?"
Bheru people where jealous because they wish they had gotten the axe and not you. That's really all it is. They could not f@ck with Shaapa and he built a nasty powerhouse. He left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Since they could not get him they took it out on you because you were inherited that legacy both because you called Bakrmarr your mentor in character and because you got the souls in his axe. Shit I wish I had gotten the axe. Right place right time for you.
Stay up and come back strong. Play what you wanna play and do what you wanna do and let the crybabies cry.
