I can relate to Bherus' player.
You could have the best roleplayed, coolest player - helping the mud, making the CF experience better for people around them.....and the small group of powergamers will attack any reward/perk/advantage that player gained. (gifted/gained/earned/fallen into lap...debatable...but changes nothing)
There are guys who will actually roll up something to grief, or correct a 'wrong' they see in their eyes, rather than try to play game as it was intended.
Same cycle of whine, complain, troll, and create discord.
Don't like something...kill them in game. The out of character bullshit is wrong. Griefing someone you never even met in game....wrong.
I remember deleting after 2 days from getting some cool reward just because of the negativity. More fun to play a weak underdog and roleplay with people than deal with 24/7 tools/lowbies/log board haters/ and PM spam.
Shapa/Beront has evolved from the same general problem playerbase - except instead of avoiding and being saddened by the BS...they slaughter the fools. Some deal with this differently.
