I bet if it wasn't for the fact it was you and the general dislike you've cultivated on the forums either the Reaver would have tried to kill the dwarf first or the Maran would have fled when the Reaver stepped in.

Fact is most players out there will do anything to kill you (and Glik) even if it means bending their RP to do so.
