Ignore these forums, it can be hard at times as they're a source of awesome information and entertainment, but if your character is every shown in a negative light don't take it personally. We all understand logs are a one sided view and that they can be easily edited.

The other thing is that whilst I read every log here, my character hasn't and so I will never use that information IC. I believe most other people here think the same way.
