Seems strange to me that a class should be lagging a warrior as their go-to move without any previous setup. I would find it less strange if Jhel was some subpar warrior race like a gnome or something, but he is indeed one of the better races for straight up fighting...
EDIT: Just pondering it a bit more. Seems there is no opportunity cost to throw here. Normally, say for a warrior, bash doesn't do any notable damage and you also might get unlucky with a bad bash. Ground control acts as all three of the potential offensive moves: lag, damage, and maladict. All in one.
All that said, it's not like assassins were this much of a pain in the ass all along. What has changed? Until the last year or two, I had only ever worried about an assassin in terms of assassinate.
