Your opinion is valid, I just wanted to point out that defending the village is much simpler because you cannot be summoned. Being summoned into a 2 man gank is essentially suicide depending on who it is. For instance Shaman + bashing giant = dead meat. Not much chance against that. Even if you prep, shaman can dispel almost everything. In such a situation, going to strike the enemy outer to bring it to convulsing is very much a valid option. So much so, it's pretty dumb to do anything else.
Also, there are those of us who believe there is skill in determining the outcome of a fight before it happens. Thereby making other plans of attack and not dieing like an idiot. I don't remember any cabal dogma say to die like an idiot. You can serve your cabal and try to play smart at the same time. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
I enjoy your play style. It's good for the game. But it's just how you choose to play. Saying it's the only way to play is just as arrogant as me saying you should play like me. I like your play style. And I like my play style.
