A Dark Hall 
  This room is long and narrow with flat walls rising straight up around you,
leading north to an iron door with slats.  Lit by a lone torch ensconced in
the wall with an iron claw, the room's only attendant is a blind slave, who
is responsible for slamming the door behind you once you leave.  Light 
streams through from beyond the door and specks of dust dance lazily in the 
beams before floating down around your feet.  A whetstone sits off to the 
side beside a small stone alcove with a non-specific holy symbol emblazoned 
inside.  You may sharpen your weapon or give praise to whichever deity you 
please before stepping north into the arena.  Prepare yourself, for battle

A Massive Arena 
  This arena is seemingly carved from solid granite, forming a pit in the earth
where there was no earth to be found.  The walls are strangely smooth and
sheer with chips and gouges taken out by the occasional thrown weapon.  Scorch
marks mar the stone walls and you also notice some splatters of blood
decorating the rock.  The ground is a fine, packed dirt which gives superior 
traction to all combatants with no advantage or disadvantage to either party.

silence.  Lined along the sides and top of this balcony are luxurious
red velvet seats, partitioned and draped to give some semblance of

velvet cover everything.  Vats of scented oils are positioned
everywhere and richly clad servants mill through the aisles filling
