I found that even when greatly outclassed by another melee fighter, you can abuse charge set to make them pay for wanting to chase you. It's like a "toggle" to adjust the difficulty of a given melee fight. Even Sekpak may not necessarily win if he has to eat 4 OBLITs before fighting you.

It might be smart to make Sekpak eat as many charge sets as necessary to tilt the odds in your favour.

It's not great against high-damage openers like pincer, but Sekpak only has low-damage initiators, and would have to use bash/lash and hope he can get next command in.
