Overlooking a Misty Glade 
  A steep hill runs down from the south side of the trail toward a gully and,
beyond that, an ancient wall of white stone.  From here, however, a verdant
glade is visible beyond the wall. Fog wafts out of the old, dense woods to the
southwest and spills across the glade, stirred occasionally by a cold breeze
that pours off of the mountains to the north.  In the distance, what appears
to be some sort of fruit orchard and some structures dot the landscape.  The
Shadow Peaks' dark cliffsides surround this valley.  The trail leads toward
what appears to be a small stream to the west.  To the east, it continues
through the valley toward distant mountains.

A Peaceful Clearing Within the Village of the Trees 
  An open area without the trees that have been planted evenly spaced through the
village sits at the southern edge of the forest.  The grass that covers the
ground of the clearing has been well-tended and groomed, enough to make it as
soft as feathers.  Sounds of animals can be heard from the bordering forest
and creates a melody as it mixes that creates a peaceful song to any who are
resting here.  A small rock is stuck into the earth near the large pit in the
ground with words scratched into it.  The path through the clearing leads north
into a large hut and east towards the rest of the forest. 

A small staircase descends towards the Academy's entrance.

  The large hut that serves as the dwelling to the Chief of the village is 
decorated with pictures of natural creatures and plants.  A small table 
stands in the middle of the hut covered in drawings on oddly colored paper.
Small plants in hardened mud pots are placed carefully on shelves near a
small, cloth-covered window.  A well-used and unstrung bow is mounted upon 
the western wall with a quiver of arrows hung under it.  The entrance to the
Chief's dwelling leads back out to the path to the south.

The Village Green 
  The village green has had less damage from the flames than the rest of the
town.  Around the edge of the square are makeshift fortifications as the
invading army of goblins have made their base here.  Upon three stakes in 
front of the barricades are the heads of the HotBloods of Clover.  Racks
of violet crystal weapons and armor line the inside walls of the battlements.
A single large hut has been erected in the middle of the green, obviously meant
for the leader of the goblin army.  The path back to the village leads through
the center and out to the south.
