A Woodland Path 
  This is a very narrow path that passes through the thick forest moving
east and south.  To the east the path continues meandering through the
forest and the trees are so close together that sometimes the path almost
vanishes from sight.  To the south the path emerges from the forest to 
merge with a larger trail.  To the north and west the thick forest is
far too dense to allow for passage.  The trees here are mostly young
oaks and beech, with the occasional thin hemlock tree jutting up against
the canopy.  A small shrub with some berries on it sits on the west side
of the path.  Various small animals can be heard rustling in the under-
growth and bird calls echo periodically across the forest.  The sun
shines down through the canopy making a pleasing pattern on the ground.

the Realm.  Four pillars rise to a domed ceiling.  Each pillar 
representing a Sect of the Empire.  The floor is a polished black 
marble with the words of the Imperial Law inscribed in gold so 
that they are forever present in the eyes of visiting dignitaries.  
At the center of room stands the Imperial Throne, equidistant from 
all of the pillars, showing equal support for each Sect but belonging 
to none.  A stairway leads back down to the fortress.

  This room is spacious and heavily adorned.  The ceilings are incredibly 
high - tall enough to house even the largest of dragons.  The floor is 
tiled in a checkerboard fashion of silver and gold.  Soft sounds echo 
faintly throughout the room, pious utterances lightly resounding from 
elsewhere in the sanctuary.  The air carries a light scent of burned 
incense that is impossible to place.  Statues stand eternally vigilant
to the south, west, north, and east.

  The lighting in this room is considerably dimmer than the rest of the temple.
