Had you raided the village with others?

If the answer is yes to either (or both) of these he may have grounds to attack you. For the first question, you assist magi (in killing him) and other villagers. If you raided the village, you are clearly an enemy of village. I'm not an expert on berserker parity so i'll leave him striking you while you fought a mob for someone else to consider or explain.

If the answer was no to the questions above, it's pretty poor rp. Yes he is a duergar, but you aren't a goodie (clearly, as you assisted Keshuk) you aren't a mage. If you weren't in a cabal that made you an enemy of the village then really it was kinda lame on his behalf. BUT that's how Rogue plays most characters, he thrives on PK.
