You stand in a large triangular-shaped room. Every surface is made of the
same solid gray stone, with no signs of individual bricks or joints. As near
as you can tell, the entire structure is one solid piece of stone. The
center of the spiraling triangular tower is open all the way up, and multi-
colored shafts of sunlight shine down through a massive stained-glass ceiling
at the top of the Spire. A spiraling stairway in one corner leads up to
the next level. A plain archway lies to the east, leading to a smaller room
in another corner of the triangular structure. An ornate archway leads west
from here, into the courtyard.

The Eastern Crossroads
By far the most congested crossroads of all those that surround Galadon, the
old road has been ground into nothing but dry dirt. The trail kicks up
clouds of dirt at a step, old trails leading off in all directions. Farms
fill the countryside, extending as far as the eye can see. The road east
leads straight across the plains, across the desert to the city of Hamsah
Mu'tazz. The trail north and south extends around the edge of the city of
Galadon, skirting along its border. The road west leads into the grand
eastern gate of Galadon. You notice a small sign off in the tall grass.

walls of Galadon to the west, sloping gently as it descends into the

the limit of the horizon in all directions save west, where the towering
battlement walls of Galadon stand quiet watch. The breadbasket of Thera,
this region provides the majority of the grain and livestock that feeds
the citizens of Galadon, Voralian City and even distant Hamsah Mu'tazz.

The Eastern Crossroads
By far the most congested crossroads of all those that surround Galadon, the
old road has been ground into nothing but dry dirt. The trail kicks up
clouds of dirt at a step, old trails leading off in all directions. Farms
fill the countryside, extending as far as the eye can see. The road east
leads straight across the plains, across the desert to the city of Hamsah
Mu'tazz. The trail north and south extends around the edge of the city of
Galadon, skirting along its border. The road west leads into the grand
eastern gate of Galadon. You notice a small sign off in the tall grass.

You are standing in a brick walled courtyard. The massive triangular gray
Spire rises up immediately to the east, while a path leads west toward
Galadon. Benches line the walls all the way around the courtyard at regular
intervals, but the plaza is dominated by a huge stone pedestal in the middle.
Mounted on the pedestal is a metal statue of a woman in flowing robes, her
head tilted up toward the sky and a blindfold covering her eyes. In one hand
she holds a sword, in the other a simple scale. The statue gleams in the
daylight, in stark contrast to the dull gray of the Spire.

downward, toward the base of the Spire.

as you can tell, the entire structure is one solid piece of stone. The

colored shafts of sunlight shine down through a massive stained-glass ceiling
at the top of the Spire. A spiraling stairway in one corner leads up to
the next level. A plain archway lies to the east, leading to a smaller room
in another corner of the triangular structure. An ornate archway leads west
from here, into the courtyard.

Spire rises up immediately to the east, while a path leads west toward
Galadon. Benches line the walls all the way around the courtyard at regular
intervals, but the plaza is dominated by a huge stone pedestal in the middle.
Mounted on the pedestal is a metal statue of a woman in flowing robes, her
head tilted up toward the sky and a blindfold covering her eyes. In one hand
she holds a sword, in the other a simple scale. The statue gleams in the
daylight, in stark contrast to the dull gray of the Spire.

Outside the East Gate
You stand in the small patch of land outside the gates of Galadon that is
still protected by the city guard. To venture further afield means to lose
the protection of the city. A long dusty road passes to the east, through a
crossroads toward the mountains and the desert beyond. As far as you can
see, it stretches straight as an arrow to the horizon. You can enter the
city to the west.

By far the most congested crossroads of all those that surround Galadon, the
old road has been ground into nothing but dry dirt. The trail kicks up
clouds of dirt at a step, old trails leading off in all directions. Farms
fill the countryside, extending as far as the eye can see. The road east
leads straight across the plains, across the desert to the city of Hamsah
Mu'tazz. The trail north and south extends around the edge of the city of
Galadon, skirting along its border. The road west leads into the grand
eastern gate of Galadon. You notice a small sign off in the tall grass.
