A Small Valley
A small valley splits the Feanwyyn Weald here, slashing through the forest to
the east and west. Thick grass carpets the ground, undulating in waves as a
stiff breeze blows from the west, carrying with it the strong musty scent of
old corpse-strewn battlefields. Bright sunlight glints off of white rocks
that lie scattered about the ground, most half-buried in the high grass,
testament to the forces of nature that formed this rift and continue to shape
it. A small stream bubbles happily as it tumbles over the rocks that line
its bed, flowing from the east to the west on its journey towards the river.
