The Circle of Rites
This is a giant arena constructed of seemingly flawless marble. The walls
around the arena are spotless, while the smooth ground is sticky from spilt
blood. Intricate artworks of heroic figures in battle have been carved into
the marble walls. Archways lead out of the arena to the east, and to the west.
At the top of the marble walls, heads of enemies of the village, taken as
trophies, sit atop spikes. In the center of the arena, a large circle has
been painted in blood. Statues circle the arena, made of the finest mithril.

Resting in the shadows is a whip crafted from the mane of a griffon.
(Glowing) (Humming) A worm-infested ball and chain lie here.
Plunged into the ground, this wicked-looking sword absorbs your light.
A metal canteen lies here on the ground.
A canoe has been left here.
A pair of arm guards, blackened by fire lie here.
An exceptionally fine rapier with a blade of silver is here.
A large jeweled broadsword has been left here.
A primitive bone javelin has been slathered with some noxious substance.
A longsword with a dark steel blade has fallen to the ground here.
(Glowing) Two glowing green pinpricks of light glare at you from the ground.
A halberd with strange dragon markings lies here.
A small dagger of fine crafting sits darkly upon the ground.
A long shaft of jade lies here, its hollow middle filled with green liquid.
Set into the marble wall is a full rack of barbarian weapons.
