This little clearing is set amidst a small thicket. Most of the trees
are rather small, but a large pine sits off a path just to the south,
while an enormous oak lies off the path to the north. The ground is
quite muddy, and the water seems to be mixed with a tremendous amount
of blood. The woods just outside the clearing are very thick, and do not
seem as if they would allow passage.

around the arena are spotless, while the smooth ground is sticky from spilt
blood. Intricate artworks of heroic figures in battle have been carved into
the marble walls. Archways lead out of the arena to the east, and to the west.
At the top of the marble walls, heads of enemies of the village, taken as
trophies, sit atop spikes. In the center of the arena, a large circle has
been painted in blood. Statues circle the arena, made of the finest mithril.

Standing over 7 feet in height, this arial is thin to the point of looking
sickly.His legs are taut with corded muscles that seem barely enough to
hold the bones in place. His knees appear knobbed due to a lack of flesh
around them. His arms appear nearly skeletal in their gauntness, and his
face is more skull than flesh. The only thing that gives him any thickness
is his rather pathetic plumage of feathers. They are thin, small, and a
nearly translucent shade of gray. It is a wonder he remains upright given
his great height and apparently lack of musculature.

This spacious hut is dominated by a large rectangular table that lies in the
exact center, surrounded by well-worn chairs of rough carved wood. Gently
swaying lanterns hang from iron hooks driven into the supporting beams of
the roof, flooding the table with bright light while leaving the corners in
shadows. A large plaque of polished steel has been affixed to the north wall,
above a wide fireplace. A giant tapestry depicts combat forms and hangs
upon the eastern wall while a blood-red curtain rests along the western wall
depicting an ancient battle. Almost hidden in the shadows of the southeast
corner is a large book resting open upon a stand.

This spacious hut is dominated by a large rectangular table that lies in the
exact center, surrounded by well-worn chairs of rough carved wood. Gently
swaying lanterns hang from iron hooks driven into the supporting beams of
the roof, flooding the table with bright light while leaving the corners in
shadows. A large plaque of polished steel has been affixed to the north wall,
above a wide fireplace. A giant tapestry depicts combat forms and hangs
upon the eastern wall while a blood-red curtain rests along the western wall
depicting an ancient battle. Almost hidden in the shadows of the southeast
corner is a large book resting open upon a stand.
