I had already inducted the guy. During the interview we talked about the Creed and the Code, he said he understood it all, so I went with it. Within a few minutes of being inducted he had already run into a city and tried to kill people, breaking the law. Niheriva was sphere purity, all about keeping himself and those in his circle pure. His Goddess told him specifically that anyone breaking the law was in direct violation of the Paladin Code, he may not have thought so at first, but after hearing it from her it became a bedrock principle in how he lived. He talked to Rawanj about it and explained the importance of not breaking the laws in that it you imprison the innocent and become their captors by making them fear to walk out of their homes in the cities for fear of the Holy War in which you brought. Rawanj basically said 'F-that, that's not my viewpoint', which I agree is fine, but Niheriva definitely did not. Rawanj was given the choice to stop attacking in town or leave Fort, he left. He went to Baer for reinduction, and they both called me in. The choice was given to me, he still refused to stop breaking the law, so I said no and didn't bend. We both ended up with the Faith Virtue. The situation didn't happen as you described it, and I'd love it if more leaders, specifically Fort leaders, put their foot down about shady things and stopped powergaming so hard. Maran might have the best ability to explore in hell, but they shouldn't ever go past the first circle, period.
