Actually, there are several ways

Taking my own bard:
curse (scroll), -- lvl 40 (failed a lot), easy to get, not too hard to find, non-limited
poison (scroll) -- lvl 40 worked well, as above
scourge (scroll) -- lvl 47 worked well, not too hard to get, but hard to find, non-limited
fumble (scroll) -- lvl 51 worked very well, non-limited but really REALLY hard to get alone
blind (scroll) -- level 51 worked well, as above, but not quite as hard to get.

So if someone slept can't call in help, you can mess them up with that and there's a good chance they die even with teleportation, let alone if you lag them to open with the right exotic. Or call a beast on them with a deadfall nearby (as an outlander, for example).

Then as an alternative to this, you have a song that stops them knowing how hurt they are and what protections have dropped. Coupled with the feign weakness edge (which I loved), that will often make people stay too long and die.

Then there are the songs that make people unable to see where they are and who is around etc. That can make it difficult for them after they teleport, so you have a decent chance of tracking them down.

Also, you can get the immolation edge.

Basically these mean that even if you want to run, there's a good chance you will still die.

Wow. Did you just say you can't kill as a bard except with fiend? Get a fucking clue.
