Recall the name to search for perhaps?

This kind of brings up a point I was wondering about as far as tribunals and what people can do to try to trap them into law breaking.

Sure, an invoker has to choose to use the area spells....but for something like a conjurer, if someone walks up to a tribby conjurer with servitors in a town, a Challegha for example, attacks the demon, and then flees and walks back in, the demon tracks them and attacks. The conjurer never raised a hand...hell, he could have been even been stone cold link dead, the aggressor took the action, and the servitor reacted. Who gets in trouble....both the conjurer and the attacker? Only the attacker? Only the conjurer?

I have hear a lot about people attacking the servitors in the spire to get them to AOE in town and hurt innocents or track into town and attack someone not fllagged, but I wasn't sure if they could do the same thing standing in town and jsut attacking on a whim.

Not really sure why a Tribunal is casting fireball in the city like that...? ~

_Magus_ 349 April 09, 2008 09:25AM

A trib is free to do so, if apprehending a criminal

daurwyn(VIP) 373 April 09, 2008 11:21AM

This isnt true. You cant harm innocents. ntnt

crafteddeception 312 April 09, 2008 11:26AM

You can put any and all laws aside when apprehending a criminal

daurwyn(VIP) 381 April 09, 2008 11:16PM

Help protector. At the bottom. ntnt

crafteddeception 319 April 10, 2008 05:24AM

Which does not say no area effect spells

daurwyn(VIP) 392 April 10, 2008 01:48PM

I can't tell if CD is arguing you can't use area spells at all or what...

_Magus_ 328 April 11, 2008 11:52AM

Is this something that is a Provost Policy decision? N/T

Kamuela 341 April 09, 2008 11:36AM

No, not really.

crafteddeception 380 April 09, 2008 11:38AM

Like most things in Tribs, it is open to interpretation. (nt)

shroomking 297 April 09, 2008 02:31PM

Um, no

Yver 397 April 09, 2008 11:48AM

I get what you're saying. But this log specifically...

_Magus_ 338 April 09, 2008 03:29PM

Yeah, any NPC. Guildguards especially.

Yver 328 April 09, 2008 05:49PM

Do we want to refrence that one invoker getting booted log again by imms? ntnt

crafteddeception 309 April 09, 2008 11:55AM

Yes please

Habbs 369 April 09, 2008 12:11PM

Here, imm decided ruled on AOE even though it was controlled.

crafteddeception 433 April 09, 2008 12:38PM

That was five years ago.

Yver 423 April 09, 2008 02:23PM

That's why classes with good area stuff tend to avoid being tribs n/t

Kamuela 298 April 09, 2008 12:29PM

And the guy in the log hit a guildguard as an added bonus ntnt

crafteddeception 324 April 09, 2008 11:56AM

He must have hoped for 6d6 on the orc. -nt
