  Heaped before you is a mound of algae and protoplasm has been gathered
in the marsh here, saturated with brackish swampwater and mud. The
mound is dotted with countless small and gelatinous balls of slime
that you can only presume to be glauruk eggs. Swarms of gnats flurry
around the nest in chaotic clouds, and the bogs ripple and bubble
at the base of the heap. Tall reeds and cattails grow densely and
protectively around the nest, though to the north the bogwater parts
the growth, leaving the way unobstructed.
