It was stated that increased ironhands/unarmed def decreases an opponents chance of parrying your hands.

While having it high does increase your chances of parrying <b>across the board</b> it shouldn't specifically make other unarmed people easier to defend against. All else equal.

Of course, since the days of Neukar winning with STSF despite HUGE maledicts - hand specs now feel the burn when maledicted. How much that just affects non-ironhands skills, and how much (if at all) that affects their defenses, depends on the code.
