They both were caused by the edge that affects you with "Fear" on certain song.

Vs. Kornuel I was in full health, with ABS, protection, and resist mental up.

I recalled immediately, but couldn't stay in combat even for one round. As invokers can hardly parry, as soon as fiend was scratching me, I was fleeing from it. After like 20 flees I tried to lag myself with area spells, but to little success. Till the time fear affect wore off, I fled like 50 times already, and there was no way to defeat it.

And so I died.

Pretty similar to Vrinlo with the only exception that I was too low on health when he fiended me.

This stupid edge should be looked at IMHO.
