It's only imbalanced because Ixilth was prepped out the wazoo, and it was in an arena. The arena favors classes whose achilles heel is that they can't keep people in combat. Such as...wait for it...an alligator. It's going to be hard for Hect to beat an alligator with full a/b/s, just like it's going to be hard for him to beat an AP with a/b/s, an invoker with a/b/s, and possibly a necro with a/b/s. The problem is that he's a rager (i.e. there's an upper limit on how buff he can get) and he's an axe spec. Do you think Igbah would have lost that fight? I'm going to say "maybe", but it would probably have been a lot closer.
