That's kind of my point. There's a lot missing from this log that might affect any evaluation of whether alligator is OP, yet you made a snap judgment.

In this case, alligator had "average" gear, and the rager had "above average" (for a rager). Alligator was gnome, warrior was fire giant. Alligator was hero, warrior was...45 or so. Not sure about the veil.

I'm not sure weapon knowledge comes into play for shifters in form. That is to say they don't parry axes especially poorly compared to, say, daggers, just because shifters learn dagger and not axe.

I intentionally didn't mention transmuter. Invoker only has to deal with spellbane if they're using non-area spells. Necro only has to deal with spellbane as long as the target is awake. If he can survive a pincer then he can try for the sleep.
