I've noticed when you're fighting people with pets, and they flee, you tend to just have 'pincer' keyed in, and therefore you pincer their pets. Thats three rounds of lag you dont have to eat. Its generally a good idea for moves that lag you substantially(IE, more than a round or two) to target them. Just a little tip.
