Just get in the habit of doing "pincer joebob" instead of an untargetted "pincer". Good for when they flee and return, to let their pets tank, and also when any people you're fighting tries to flee. You'd be surprised how often someone flees out, only to accidenally walk back in and eat another pincer. That won't happen unless you target it though.

Exception to this obviously is if you're blind..
