I try to cycle through different cabals, alignments, and builds because it is so easy to get stuck in a rut (Goodie - Welverin, Neut/Evil - Kstatida, NoRP asshole - [insert your favorite bitch here]). It was time for me to do a goodie, and I had grown tired having to prep with every fight on my last, so Battle it was.
My personal quest was to study all the known rager gear to learn as much as I could about the first Battleragers, and I was able to examine the blade, the exotic, the skull sword and the trophy belt from Thrym. The first one I got was the blade (thanks team fortress), and the exotic I was able to get with the help of Joenne (although I could have gotten it solo). If I had stuck at it, I could have gotten the helm solo -- btw, counterpunch was damn sexy in those multi-mob rooms--but I was never able to quite finish the job before real life called me away. Izqi's logins were either spotty or just out of sync with mine, and his absence was sorely missed on those adventures. No other bard, in any friendly-ish cabal, was ever available (evil glare at Sam), which made the helm, shield, and breastplate inordinately more difficult if not impossible.
PS My arial sword spec did not tank as well as he should have, but I kept my weight at about 70% max so I could try to fight everyone rather than being smart about selecting who I could fight. It lead to me getting my ass kicked often. Oh well. Beats the hell out of logging out or typing camo like too many people do when they see a bad range.
