It was fun. To the idiots complaining about bat: It looks good in a handful of logs. But it's ridiculously unpredictable. For all the logs you see of it lagging people twice in a fight, there are hundreds more where it does literally nothing but small amounts of damage. It's a good skill, but not a great one because you cannot even remotely predict or control what you get out of it. Maybe you'll get some maledicts.. maybe those maledicts will stack. Maybe you'll get a trip here and there. Maybe two in a row. Usually you get nothing.
I compare it to PWK. If the only logs you saw of PWK in use were where people were killed in one spell, you'd be bitching about it being overpowered. If you saw the truth of it failing the first 999 times out of 1000, you probably wouldn't. But no one posts those logs, because.. what's the point?
Bat spam is basically a hope and a prayer that you'll get something useful out of it. Most of the time you don't. The reason you see most champions spam bat is because they literally don't have anything else to do. Wrath spam is pretty ineffective now, since they bumped it to 2 rounds. Fend is pretty useless in PK. Marshall is great (and is the skill everyone should be complaining about), but it's a one-time thing per fight for the most part. Maneuver is awesome, but niche. That leaves champions with the choice of bat or.. pugil maybe? They choose bat not because it's overpowered, but because it's the only real viable option. And sometimes it looks really really good.. most of the time it doesn't.
I will admit, at low levels bat spam is awesome because it pumps out enough damage to kill people really quick.. assuming anyone is logged on that you can kill. Beyond that, most of the time it's just something to do.
Anyway, I deleted because my Imm went dormant about 10 hours into the char. There are also zero Fort Imms as far as I could tell which sucks because promoting within the cabal requires Imms. And frankly, a champion build isn't as much fun as people seem to think.
