I blame skill practice

I would've loved to hero but I didn't want to hero without 100%s in all passive skills and important active skills.

Plus you get some nice obs/explore from exploring at lower levels, and I've always been curious which areas had obs/explore points for lowbie exploration. I had fun in the midranges.

Re: risk aversion: unfortunately giant pole spec does encourage that kind of playstyle. I'm hard to lag and have great melee defence and high hp, so you can't make me stay or burst me down if things are going badly. But I have decent lag options and cutoff to land kills. So it doesn't make sense to go "down to the wire" to land kills, since I don't need to make you think you're winning to make you stay (bash).

In fact I think the secret of playing giants is to treat them as ambush predators, not tanky powerhouses. I ran from way more fights than I landed kills on, but I had 0 deaths.

Until someone disarms you.

Wasn't too worried about that
