I think they were going to give you acolyte the next day. It's the usual routine - awarding people the day after they delete.

Edit: Btw I'm not sure that what you've described fits acolyte RP. You turn people to the light as acolyte, not help or heal them. At least that's what Liffy did and got Cardinal.
