[ 33] Quesnel: New proceedure for joining the Golden Tower <br>Sat Apr 28 17:08:48 2001 <br>To: all <br>Greetings Theran Scholars, <br>The Golden Tower is, as always, accepting applications from <br>the finest scholars in Thera. Many mages wish to know more <br>about the Warlocks of the Golden Grimoire, and this missive <br>is to explain the questions that are in the mind of scholars, <br>around Thera. <br> <br>As most know, one of the primary purposes of Warlock is to <br>ensure that magic is not used for Dark purposes, only those <br>with true commitment to the Light need apply. Also, there is <br>some new information that all applicants will need to know. <br>The Preceptor Annalena and I have decided on the best process <br>to follow, in bringing new scholars into the Golden Tower, <br>and have decided upon the following procedure. First, write a <br>missive to Warlock, that all might know your intention, and <br>be able to speak with you, as they wish. It will be very <br>important that you speak with as many Warlocks as you can, <br>because you will need to find a Warlock to serve as a Mentor <br>to you. The Mentor/Student relationship will be a lifelong <br>relationship, so it is important that you have a <br>compatability. Finally, speak with either the Preceptor, <br>Lady Annalena, or myself, and we will decide if the rigors of <br>the Tower are for you.
