MASTER EMBALMER (3357)

A necromancer with this edge is more successful at attempts to embalm dead
flesh, and enjoys a longer time of preservation, especially with body parts.

VIGILANTE (3358)

A good character with criminal tendencies can choose this edge, which makes
many good-aligned guards inclined to view them sympathetically and be
reluctant to strike them, even should they be wanted for a crime.

This edge is drastically less effective for Outlanders of Thar-Eris, who
guards typically view as dangerous radicals despite their alignment.

SMOOTH CRIMINAL

A charismatic habitual criminal can choose this edge, which allows them to use
their charm and social savvy to disguise themselves and avoid the notice of
many kinds of guards while wanted.

A character who has fought recently will find this edge useless, as will one
whose charisma is diminished. It also is of no use against the special guards
of the Tribunal, who have training and experience beyond these simple tricks.

VALUED CUSTOMER (3361)

A criminally-inclined character with this edge develops a good reputation with
merchants, who may find him sympathetic enough to conduct some business with
even should he be wanted for a crime.

This is dramatically more effective in the character's hometown.

VETERAN ANATHEMA (3362)

A character who has survived as Anathema to the Empire and even found some
success at battling the Citizens who come for her head can choose this edge,
allowing her to make use of her insider knowledge of the Empire's functions to
better defend themselves against many of the Empire's special techniques as
well as better battle through the Empire's roadblocks.

VEIL TENDER (3363)

This edge, available to a character with considerable experience thickening
the Veil, allows them to be slightly more effective than normal in thickening
the Veil should it be thinner than normal.

This edge is mutually exclusive with Veil Render.

VEIL RENDER (3364)

This edge, available to a character with considerable experience thinning the
Veil, allows them to be slightly more effective than normal in thinning the
Veil should it be thicker than normal.

This edge is mutually exclusive with Veil Tender.

SEE ALSO: EDGES, VEIL

UPSTANDING CITIZEN (3365)

An orderly character with little to no criminal history can choose this edge,
which allows them to recover from wounds and fatigue more rapidly in cities.
They also find themselves slightly more able to evade blows in the familiar
confines of civilization.

Should such a character build a reputation as a criminal, they will find its
benefits vanish permanently.

LATE BLOOMER (3359)

Characters who choose this flaw begin their adventuring career later than most
and are advanced in age.

This has all the usual effects of aging, such as a diminished remaining
lifespan and the normal stat effects of aging, as appropriate.
