With what you gave me, if I do a potion of return after making the alias, I get this....

You are carrying:
(Glowing) <@prepname> [<@PrepEffects>]

I have to delete everything in the trigger to break down into...
#sub "a potion of return ~ [Word of Recall]"

To get....

You are carrying:
(Glowing) a potion of return [Word of Recall]

In your system, from those prompt windows, it works like this?
