JMC logging and scripting question

April 07, 2012 05:48PM
Hey, so I have used JMC for...more years than I care to admit.

I'm okay with alias and actions, and some variable work. Just recently implemented using a window to track conversations.

However, I'm wondering how hard it would be to set up a thing where I have a script logging each id a character does, triggering on the spell, or something like that. So I'd want it to log the id to a word file, then keep adding the next id to the same log file, appending each time, and then ending the log immediately after.

Am I just being a dick, and should I just copy/paste like any regular shmoe?

I really have no idea.

Thanks.

are you saying that's all that's required in a nutshell to do it?

I'll have to figure this out some day. As soon as I make another char. (n/t)
