Sure, and car insurance costs me money too.

But car insurance doesn't have a industry-wide influence on the cost of car repairs. If we could only go to dealerships for repairs, then the prices would skyrocket. That's essentially what we have in healthcare.

Anyone watch the healthcare debate?

PaulO February 15, 2017 08:11AM

This is one thing where I completely disagree with most republican talking points.

Yeah, this (n/t)

starbright February 16, 2017 08:24AM

Why are you in doubt that insurance companies increase health care costs?

Flipside Oreo February 15, 2017 08:34PM

Actually the insurance company is often not to blame

daurwyn(VIP) February 16, 2017 11:52AM

Sure, and car insurance costs me money too.

PaulO February 16, 2017 05:39AM

Jib February 16, 2017 08:05AM

I don't pay for health insurance at all

Kstatida February 16, 2017 08:11AM

You tell me.

Jib February 16, 2017 08:53AM

Big cities - cities - rural areas are different medical care

Kstatida February 16, 2017 09:03AM

Ah, you live in Kiev? NT

Sam February 16, 2017 01:58PM

Naw, you should be pretty safe going to clinics in rural US. You'll probably be heading to the city for any serious procedure however.

Jib February 16, 2017 09:07AM

Kstat is partially right.

Matrik February 16, 2017 10:19AM

I live in a rural area. Town of 1000.

PaulO February 16, 2017 09:28AM

I should clarify.

PaulO February 16, 2017 10:41AM

Sorry I can't imagine how that works

Kstatida February 16, 2017 11:27AM

That's the hospital I would avoid :D (n/t)

Matrik February 16, 2017 10:49AM

Yeah, I had to be stubborn with my wife that we weren't having babies there. We'll drive the hour for ultrasounds and labor. (n/t)

PaulO February 16, 2017 11:55AM

It can only work (to some extent) with strict medical standards

Kstatida February 16, 2017 09:43AM

Meaning they'll only treat your sneeze in rural U.S.?

Kstatida February 16, 2017 09:25AM

That wasn't a debate. It was a massacre. (n/t)
