The fact that me and Murphy can speak some English shouldn't deceive you, we don't get half of your reasoning, and you don't get half of ours.
I don't know, I think you generally present your point pretty logically, and I can usually follow your reasoning fairly well. That doesn't mean that I always agree, but usually I do understand.

We've had these conversations before. You guys seriously think that politics are free to say bullshit. This is unthinkable in Russia. A Minister who says dumb thing is branded for fucking ever, and people will remind him of his stupidity years after.
I don't think that politicians are "free" to say bullshit, but most people who are older than 13 understand that's what they generally do by nature. I would say that culturally the bullshit is expected, but not advocated. This was a big reason why Trump was elected-- his bullshit was arguably of a different nature, but for many, many people, it was a breath of fresh air.
Are you saying that politicians in Russia are more honest? If so, would you say that this is perception or reality? Would you say that Putin is an honest individual, who has been honestly elected and tells the truth 100% of the time? I'm genuinely curious, since I have heard first hand from Russians I have known that Russian politics is extremely corrupt and this is the first I've heard otherwise.
As a funny side note, I heard Putin just recently quote something stupid, when he said "Like the President Reagan said: Read my lips". Well it wasn't Reagan who said this, it was Bush. That's a fairly benign slip up, but from an American's point of view, it sounds like someone just talking bullshit about something he has no idea about.

Also I assure you, if there is a solid evidence of Assad using chemical weapons, Russian public opinion will be swayed in no time, and no government can ignore that even if it would love to.
I could be mistaken, but I don't think it was just these two notable times (once in 2013, and once last week) that chemical weapons were used in Syria. Now, I'm skeptical of who used the chemicals this latest time, but with my admittedly limited understanding of mass-deployable chemical weapons, it takes a fairly large state with a devoted program to produce the technology at a large-scale. So if it was never Syria, then it was...whom ?
