I don't see how you can claim something as wide-sweeping as 'People aren't racist towards Muslims at all' when in 2001 there was the Bradford riots. Those Asians didn't riot because they were unprovoked and the majority of their community was Muslim. I doubt the provokers have really changed their mindset radically as your claim refutes.
In 2003 my ex's older brother had bottles thrown at him by a car with shouts of 'Paki!' accompanying them. Incidentally, he is a half-caste liberal Muslim (but not Pakistani), a Surgeon and is currently working in Cardiff hospital. He graduated from Imperial. This was in Cardiff also.
People I have spoken to in ALL over the country - Berwick Upon Tweed, Edinburgh, London, Surrey, Swansea, Cardiff - all spout similar rhetoric to that in your post and then come out with some of the choice quotes in my previous post. I'm not saying you're a racist by this logic Yhorian I'm just saying, if someone sounds like this on the surface, you can't tell what their mindset is.
