I also have large amounts of time where I just don't want to be bothered. I would say 90% of the fights in years 2-4 of my current relationships have been during these times when I react badly to my girlfriend/family/friends wanting to do things.

The only thing I can tell is savor the time you do have to do this, and make sure your relationship doesn't suffer because of it (I'm serious, alone time while she sleeps is priceless. Sure I get like 4 hours a sleep a night if I am lucky on average, but I'm about as happy as I've ever been. I could be going mad, but I doubt it.).
