Means absolutely nothing

Back in 2000 McCain and Bush were in a virtual dead heat through the first 6 states. Bush won Iowa's silly caucus but then McCain destroyed him in New Hampshire. It was a virtual coin flip in the weeks going into the super Tuesday (that was then held in March I believe) until Bush started really destroying McCain in a horrible mud slinging campaign. And McCain, like a loyal party member, bit his tongue about his true feelings about Bush when it was obvious that he was going to lose the Republican bid. If McCain had lashed out at Bush about how he felt about the man and his campaign, it would have given Gore the edge (of course Gore made plenty of mistakes on his own to lose the bid).

Regardless, if any candidate can keep it close going into super Tuesday this year (02/05/08) they have a chance since TWENTY states are having their primary that day including two of the monsters (California and New York).

The local news think that it looks like Obama vs McCain.

Looked like Chuck Norris was his running mate.

I wonder if he'll pull an Arnold Schwartznegger in a few years..

I'll say this about Huckabee

I disagree to a point...

A Hillary/Obama ticket is not absurd to consider, and is a likely win nt

Rade January 04, 2008 07:39PM

Actually, I kind of think it is absurd.

Lokain January 04, 2008 10:26PM

It's only rare in the last twenty years

ExPaladin(VIP) January 05, 2008 02:19AM

It's not that common

jegec January 06, 2008 01:13AM

You misunderstood me, I'm talking about the winner picking the #2 guy in the primaries as his running mate

ExPaladin(VIP) January 06, 2008 11:30AM

Fair point. However,

Lokain January 05, 2008 11:58AM

I pointed out Bush, Reagan on purpose. Who do you think first called trickle-down theory "Voodoo economics"?

ExPaladin(VIP) January 05, 2008 04:12PM

It's just one state. nt

Isildur(VIP) January 03, 2008 06:00PM

Actually, when was the last time Iowa picked a winner?

ExPaladin(VIP) January 04, 2008 05:51AM

Ha!
