But I think I'd prefer a weapon thats easily concealable to something thats an overt threat.
So lets call it, silenced glock 18. With an extended clip, its a 31 round machine pistol - with a regular clip, its more easily concealable.
Its a variant of the extremely common glock17 used by law enforcement and military everywhere, so its ammo will also be fairly common and easy to replace for survival purposes. Its got a decisive full auto for if you wanna just clear the room, and is very accurate in semi-auto. It won't penetrate military grade vests reliably on the first shot, but who cares when you've got the mileage to hit people with fix or six per burst.
its made from polymer and extremely high reliability. Its parts are interchangeable with the common as shit glock17 variants spread all over the US. And you're not lugging 50+ pounds from the gun + ammo alone everywhere you go, unlike the more overt rifles (cough barrett cough)
Unfortunately, I'm fairly sure its banned in the US, except for law enforcement and/or military purposes, as people get all twitchy about plastic machine-pistols in the hands of NRA crazies. I never understood that mindset very well - isn't it obvious what people would use it for? What would possibly be fun in duck hunting if you can't do it at 1,300 rounds per minute?
