My job is extremely stressful and needlessly so, but that is simply how it is. I've bemoaned this issue before.

On occassion I recieve a call, or letter or a card of thanks, once even a pecan pie, from patients I have helped in some way or another. I am a pretty negative person, but those moments are truely breaths of fresh air and mean something greater than I can take the time to put into words right now.

I was just delievered an envelope from an Optometrists office, inside a gift card for an eye exam and a pair of glasses. A week ago my glasses broke and I don't have the funds to buy any right now so I'm looking pretty jacked up. It was signed A Patient.

Wow, gettin a lil teary eyed. So freaking nice to have someone acknowledge what you do.
