I played Israh. Our one encounter was freaking me out in a good way.
Amaranthe's set up was awesome, but it required active participation from all the players.
For the record I had some good interactions with Voralia.
PaulO is correct.
Since the length of the win streak (say 7 in a row) will be very small compared to the no. of trials you might as well drop the combinatorics.
Base chance is 1/10^7.
Expected value = no of trials * base chance
You do 10.000 trials. You expect 1/1000.
Now, this assumes the events are independent. This might not be the case. The code could have some sort of state space,
I can see where you are coming from. You have made sensible suggestions the last couple of years with regards to gear standardization.
I understand your suggestion to move CF to a more stable deathmatch environment. I think it would draw some back. It might alienate others.
I kinda like the crazy gear. It is bad for a level competition field, but I don't see that as the main draw of CF.
Maximum possible hp heal observed: lower end gushing to higher end covered approximately 40% hp.
What is good shaman hp? 1000 hp? 1200 ?
We are talking about maximum 400-480 hp.
Probably 300-400.
I think the thing is that we have all had some great moments in CF. And we still can, but those moments are perhaps more elusive, which leads to frustration. A change in expectations might be in order?
I'll be the first to admit that I have had some frustrations playing this year and experienced boredom as well. But it is mostly on me, I think. Suddenly something magic happens. That'
> try playing a lone char with a deathmark over your head (everyone is an enemy pretty much)
Is this a big deal? This is not a knock at your abilities. Quarrissa was way tough and much, much better than anything I could ever do.
But consider this:
You are an aggressive player playing an offensive, self reliant build.
That means a lot of enemies is preferable to fewer enemies.
