First STSF character ever - it's pretty broken. I've been on the receiving end plenty of time and it sucked hard.
The other reason is because a lot of people play very conservatively. To a certain degree it's no longer become Carrionfields, but hello kitty island.
Then there are people like you who think everything is a cheat or a hack or an abuse instead of thinking of ways

***This is the famous log from my perspective that broke Ugga. I just outplayed him, including eyejabbing the giant to remove the polearm and letting him think that the giant is going to cutoff***

Ahhh memories.
It's been way too long and I never got any crazy cool titles, but some of the more memorable ones...
Ghrummin Dhrummin the Iron-Arm Berserker, Commander of Battle, Smith of the Noldarian Forge
Kharnial Loke the Partaker of Terror's Chalice, Chancellor of Eternal Night
Ankhran the Executioner of the Destuvian High Guard
Knacnar BloodStomp the Commander of Battle,
"...we pitch the staff to make it a fun month..."
You shouldn't have to pitch the staff to make it a fun month.
Don't get me wrong - I'm too swamped to play (80 hour workweek balance with new GF and living it up in SF). But based on a lot of the gripes, some of which are unsubstantiated but others that are justified, a game should be fun. Period. It's a game. B
Who the hell is bitching that you didn't thirst?
Village dogma up to interpretation by the current imm and the current commander. That being said, generally "don't be suicidal" and "don't play like a fucking moron" is a part of the Village dogma.
Good shit dude.
This is not a time for you to be questioning why people live the life that they do. He was a member of the community and passed away - let people think/talk about him / mourn him without you chiming in in a direct or indirect way of why he had no assets / income. For all you know, maybe that was incorrectly worded. If you want to discuss on a higher level the living standards in the US, go discus
First ranger, wanted to try something different. With the holiday (in which I worked alot), I thought it would be an interesting foray into CF.
Not necessarily a waste of time, but in the end was just bored. Hunters are notoriously hard to seal kills with, and given my play style (which isn't a lot of patience - I fought in civilized sooo much), it became abundantly clear that I wouldn
Warrior ragers. Not much of a STSF, but fire/dwarf/duergar.
I've made at least 30 hero shifters but I get bored because they're all shapeshift, rake, repeat. I think it's the gambling aspect that does it for me.
Started playing Abandoned Realms in middle school. It was created by former CF players (Quazark, etc.). Beat that, moved on to Forsaken Lands, which was created by former AR players. Beat that. Full circle back to CF after I heard that this was where it started.
Was thinking of playing again, but this kinda annoys me. It's like dangling a carrot in front and laughing because the stupid donkey doesn't know how to bite it.
Yea, guess I'm out. Gluck.
I just saw that, was busy getting dressed for work, and didn't realize that there were other posts.
Melissa was fun - I'll probably do a nec if work ever slows down.
Good times.
Sorry, you just weren't.
I got a tad bit more suicidal towards the end because I haven't died for a long time. Took some unnecessary risks just to see ... what if?
If I didn't want to die, there's really almost no way you would have killed me those two (I think?) times. And given the way I can almost always get out of most situations by running my ass off from nearly eve
Good times - I'd consider it my comeback character.
I was unemployed for a bit so I could invest a lot of time in the character. Just started a new job today (for the last few weeks I've been in interview mode). No time to play.
Had fun. Peace out.
Stop at 15.
Go east of Arkham (whatever that place is called) with the possessed villagers.
Make sure you have a shitton of -ac items (entwined rings, etc.) In fact, at low level, you should always gear like this (not damage).
Go around and collect the possessed villagers. Be careful you don't get a shade or that goblin nutsack.
In the portion that has the possessed villagers (wh
You're fighting a RBW. You kinda need to prep. Stoneskin and desensitize at the minimum, and if you know where to get other preps, shield + aura (+ resist negative).
I tore apart non-prepped warriors as Knacnar. But when Adarmar (Alex's empire warrior) prepped up with the above, he kicked my ass generally, even at the Destructor.
Yea, I got it changed.
After Thror came back, as Ghrummin I was the first one with the tattoo. Abused it once, killed an ABS shifter with deathblow in one shot, and they were like ... uh shit, we should change that.
Also, although I didn't abuse this bug personally, for a brief 24 hour period they fucked up the code for fireball so it would do unspeakable every single time. Tried to ge
I was in Cambodia visiting a friend who works for UNESCO and we met this aussie. He tagged along with our trip. Went to Kep (a little beach town) and rented bikes. While driving in the Cambodian "highway" at 50 km/hr, he decides to do tricks, like stand on his bike, do yoga poses, etc. He does a side straddle and loses control of the bike. Barely misses a truck coming in from the other
