The shifter has a right to be angry IC, every right. But why wouldn’t he question the other members about what happened or explain to them what happened at the least. He’s not obligated to do so, but just getting angry and then waiting until the Watcher can attack you again before taking the things from your corpse seems odd.
Because shifter knows what RP is, and is obviously goi
Waiting until unghost to grab your things in front of an inner that just killed you seems odd. But I guess if ICly this was seen as a betrayal then oocly knowing that it would happen again could cement the event.
Still, the inner is sworn to guard their cabal’s item of power against any and all that would come for it. That explains IC why the ooc mechanic is in place. How does the inner know
Agreed. It’s as though some people can only RP a hardcore badass. Frustration as seen at the end of the log is what happens when your PK game isn’t as strong as your “RP” game. I added quotations because I don’t think that people who shit talk like some big bad is really RP. It is, but not if it’s all that you have in your repertoire. That said, no hardcore badass would whine so much about someth
I’ll have to search and make sure, but I need some help remembering them all. Venara, Whildur, and now I’m drawing a blank even though I think I know most of them.
I’ve been looking for some suggestions, so if there are any others, shout me out so long as they’re close to 100 hrs.
If you are going to be afk you need to either a) not care about dying, because the possibility is strong that you may die, or b) log out until you are back at the keyboard. AFK deaths aren’t anyone’s fault but your own. Blaming others for it as indecent is unrealistic for your own part. I posit that leaving your char logged in to eat an afk death is the more indecent action.
The gear stuff? Ma
I ended up with an early PK and pledged to Maran afterward and Thaedan couldn’t tell if I had a kill until crash/reboot. I’m not 100% sure, cause it was a little while ago, but I believe that’s how it went. No clue on village.

It was gutsy to come at us then (I was Sigard), hopefully still fun for you. I actually felt kind of bad once you got trapped in the maze with us, but at the same time you did initiate.
I apologize for not fighting you almost at all, as you seemed eager and PK is one of the most fun aspects of the game. I’m still noobish with my game knowledge, though, so against a tough foe I was inclined to
One thing to shed light on here, that makes this much less spectacular. I played Kiriam, and that was my first time in the mausoleum with a caster of any kind. I was under the impression that the whole mausoleum was a no commune zone, so the breadth of my abilities went unused due to simple newbie ignorance. Had I known that I could send supps at you I think it would at the very least meant that
You don't think that tweeting out major policy changes ahead of informing the people involved that you will be doing so is something he's wrong on? Like his issue with trans people in the military? It kind of makes him look foolish when the first words of objection to said policies by the agencies involved are then forced to be made in the open forum of the media.
The guy invites sc
Re: Warriors. They are quite good, and one of the most customizable classes available. Detect invis preps are fairly abundant and generally fairly cheap. It almost sounds as though a bit of prep knowledge and some sources of income would set you up to be able to play whatever you'd like. In that regard I would suggest finding a helpful cabal or someone that your character would reasonably as
If PK is all they play for I guess. I'm here for RP, so my desire to PK will be motivated by the path of my character. If I'm someone who thinks all of X group should perish, I'll go at them whether they have phat lewtz or not. I honestly don't see why anyone would be motivated solely by PK when there are many other games out there that are better balanced and more competitive
I don't think CF should be a priority for anyone who would be hurt by losing that time out of their lives, so of course the answer has to be do what needs to be done. There will come a time, though (I really hope, anyway), when things slow down a bit and you don't have to stress about every minutae of life. If that time comes just know you have a community that enjoys you as a part of i
Well you did say something along the lines of 'if this all gets released, there is no reason to interact in game anymore'. Not an exact quote, mind, but rather a paraphrase. Again, I could be taking you too literally here, but if that were the case then it would be symptomatic of a greater problem.
Glad that we agree for the most part otherwise. With regards to Scara, he has said on
Completely agree. The biggest thing that raw newbs are missing is the foundation of how MUDs work mechanically. The average raw newb is not going to realize the best ways the gather mechanical information about the game by just playing it from an IC perspective. If we inform new players about some of these things OOCly, the disconnect between their IC and OOC experiences diminishes more quickly.
