1) I heard it works on flying people... is it true?
2) Does it lag the same as trip? (trip lags you 2 rounds and opponent 1,9 round right?)
3) Is it reliable?
Hero necro with their army of undead look (to me) impossible to kill alone.
Have you ever slay one alone? If so:
1. What was your tactic?
2. What class/race were you?
3. What are, in your opinion, the two classes/race who have to most chances to kill a mummy/lich/wight alone?
Thank you and Happy New year to all CFers!
Here's the log of my last fight against a fire AP.
I was summoned in a room and I wonder why I wasn't able to flee...

PANIC! You couldn't escape!
Neajess has a few scratches.

I was refering to the mana drain ('Spiritual energy continues to flow into you from a tiger') but I think I made a mistake: it may be not a skill but some special effect from an item:
'Thin black mist seeps from the empty sockets of the skull adorning Abomination, Axe of the Black Serpent, moving to engulf a tiger!
You begin siphoning the soul of a tiger into yourself.'
I have the feeling you usually are a decent person but obviously you don't know much about opioid addiction.
You should consider yourself lucky not to know more about it instead of spiting on those who are struggling with this reality.
Just my two cents...
frob (who, beside being bad at CF pking, helps recovering addicts)
It it very informative for me.
You said Hand to Hand allowed you to :
a) Control fight to some extent: __ Do you mean mainly by K-O your opponents with Stun?
b) do some burst damage:___ Using Pummel (and/or something else) ?
c) lag against shaman and mages: ___Using wich skill???
You also mentioned using a spear against Porcupine: __ Why a spear is especially useful against them?
I want to give a serious shot at warriors (never did) and I wonder what basic preps you have been using (95% of the time) before entering a fight with Ajanfindel?
Those I always used as a thief/assassin are: protection, flight, armor... am I missing other basics preps?
I have a hard time to find potions of stone skin (it's tough to get the canteen) and/or haste.
Is there good posts that explains it? I heard high INT and WIS are better for resisting spell cast at you in PvE but what about PvP?
Examples:
- Is being a fire giant (instead of a drow) a disadvantage at casting a spell on an elf? (talking about casting, not resisting the spell)
- Does level difference (L40 drow vs L46 drow) affect chances of landing/resisting a spell?
As mentioned a
I'm hesitating wich edge I should take first.
a) How many more HP does Healthy Transformation gives to your shape?
b) When using your minor focus shape (I use it a lot), is the 'less mana burning' difference worthed with Muscle Memory?
As always, thank you for your response.
I dip in in winter and dip out in summer to windsurf!
Played many thieves and rangers PvE but never really got seriously into PK wich i trying more now.
What (and most important why) are your 2 most favorite edges as a shifter ?
I'm still learning the class and I actually have, as an air/utility, the choice between a bunch of them.
I would definetely appreciate advices from experimented shifters players about the question...
Thank you!
I suspected it... I discovered fly does'nt work in Ysgrath. I hoped there might be some cursed area where it would work but obviously I will have to test it on a mob before trying a player.
Since no one said it's bad, I've decided to give a go with the Hummingbird (i really like the fact that it's tanky and it can fly above the world when fighting) and try the 'relentl
jalim, Frosty, Forsooth and zannon; all your posts combined have helped me a lot !
Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge.
Have a great one,
This completes perfectly Frosty's posts : it probably explains what he meant by being 'fast' (fast to chase around the world) and by 'playstyle' (not a 2 rounder killer but able to pk by being relentless).
The cursed area situation seems to effectively favor the hummingbird...
Thank you for this great post: I have a much better understanding why this form can be gre
You really make the Hummingbird sounds great... As for playstyle, it is my first shifter so I dont think I really have one.
I don't know if blinding with bloody pecker makes a big difference but obviously, beside being tanky, you seems to put great emphasis on hummingbird being FAST!!! What do you mean by this? Is it because it can chase quickly?, Escape quickly? Attack quickly? Why do
Someone told me the Hummingbird would be great against a necromancer and its army (since it would evade most of the charmies attacks). But honestly I wonder how, with a damroll of 9 (as we can see in the wiki), it can be any threat to a necro (or an orc) with a bunch of slaves following it.
At the moment, the only way I see the Hummingbird could be awesome is by taking blows while ganking wit
Why do you think it's awesome? Do you have some examples of situations that make you say so?
Thank you for the response about rolling the bones: I don't know if I can do it so I will have to figure it out with my guildmaster to see.
Also, do you have some answers on what I've wrote to Jalim in my post 'Make sense if you're Air/Offense but..."? Mainly I'm
